My new album, “L A I N E” is finally complete. I have been working on this album for 4 years. It may seem like just another beat tape, but this has some sentimental and emotional personalities in it.

If I were to go back in time, I’d relive the 80’s decade all over again. It’s what made me who I am today. A kid at heart, unassumingly hyper. Comedic. And a lover of music. As a kid, I could hear my mother listening to easy listening stations. All the remade cover songs you’d normally hear in an elevator, the dentist’s office, or on hold on the phone, were the theme music of our little apartment in Northern Virginia. Of course, I quickly became a fan of popular music on the pop radio stations, but the easy listening songs stuck with me. Thus, leading me to this album. I found some records at a thrift store that made me reminisce of old times. Most of the records featured pop orchestras performing movie soundtracks, soul hits, and pop tunes. So I dug in and chopped them up.

This album, complete with stellar art work, will be the result of weeks and weeks of sick days, sleepless nights rocking my newborn son to sleep at 4am, deaths of loved ones weeks apart. And, not since 2004, moving out of Northern Virginia, over the river into Maryland.

But this album, sparks new beginnings, closes the chapters on friendships, feelings, and creates opportunity for something new.

I hope you all enjoy it as much I do. It’s my tenth beat tape so I had to make it magical.

Album comes out August 23 and you can download it right here.

Until then, enjoy the single “G E A U X” in the M E R C H A N D I S E tab.
